i came in yesterday with a very last minute request for some stargazer lillie’s for my moms wedding taking place today. i’m so sad i didn’t catch the girls name but she had red hair and appeared to be about my age (im twenty) who helped me tremendously! even though they had no cut flowers out she went out of her way to contact their florist multiple times (she wasn’t responding) to make sure i could get those flowers! i was able to make the most beautiful bouquet and my mom was more than happy! thank you so much again!

10/10 recommend! We did our wedding florals with them and they turned out absolutely amazing. Andrea was great to work with, she was always available to make a change on the fly. Our florals for the church and venue were exactly what I had described and showed her. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend.

I love this store. It is so adorable in side. They have olive oil as well as a good selection of local honey. The Cafe inside has delicious sandwiches and coffee. I have purchased several house plants here and they are all thriving several years later. They also carry both conventional and more natural options for garden/plant care. The staff is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They spent 20 mins teaching me how to care for my fruit trees. I would highly recommend this place!

Green Thumbers made my wedding magical!! They completely captured what I wanted and my flowers were the prettiest part of the day. They met with us whenever we needed and adjusted prices multiple times for us adding and removing things. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 product. Thank you all so much!

I originally stopped in because I wanted to check out the coffee shop. It was nice that Aroma was situated inside Green Thumbers because I'm also a major plant enthusiast. I think the olive oil and other gourmet foods they sell are nice. However, I think their plants are grossly expensive. They cost 4x as much as what I pay at home on the East Coast. Maybe they're more difficult to cultivate here, but I've been to other gardening stores in Iowa that sold the same things at a fraction of the price. I would like to say that the prices may be justified because the plants are high quality but I saw a lot of bruising, a lot of browning on leaves, and overall poor watering and soil quality. I've honestly never seen such simple house plants so expensive and yet lacking so much. Maybe it's an off-season. Maybe they're understaffed. I bought a purple Oxalis Triangularis and re-potted it immediately. It's bouncing back, but I think I would rather buy plants from Etsy and save Green Thumbers for a leisurely stroll. The whole facility is beautiful inside but they've really got to do something about their house plants. The staff is really helpful and welcoming, otherwise. That's a plus.
